Changzhou has made significant strides in digital industrial transformation with the launch of 15 collaborative digital platforms as part of its 2024 “Ten-Chain Breakthrough” initiative. Four leading companies—Jiangsu Riying Electronics, Trina Power, Changzhou Xiangming Intelligent Power, and Jiangsu Chj Automotive—have been selected as core partners to spearhead industry chain collaboration through these platforms.
The city’s ambitious strategy focuses on integrating advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, and AI into its industrial ecosystem. Since 2023, Changzhou’s key enterprises have been using these platforms to connect and optimize processes across production, inventory, logistics, equipment management, supplier evaluations, R&D, financing, and after-sales services. This digital integration has enhanced cooperation among supply chain partners, improving innovation and efficiency for participating companies while accelerating the transformation of the manufacturing sector.
The first phase of the “Ten-Chain Breakthrough” project, launched in 2023, included key players such as BAIC Heavy-Duty Truck, Changzhou Hualida Clothing Group, and NR Electric Power Electronics. With 15 platforms now fully operational, Changzhou is setting a national example for digital industry collaboration. The initiative provides a model that can be expanded to include all aspects of digital integration, creating opportunities for industrial growth and stability in an increasingly interconnected economy.
