On July 20, Wujin hosted the Changzhou Graphene Industry Frontier Technology Seminar, attracting experts and representatives from esteemed institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Nanjing University, Southeast University, the Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Graphene Innovation Center, and the Jiangsu New Materials Industry Association. The seminar focused on the latest advancements in graphene technology, including its fundamental properties as a two-dimensional semiconductor, optimization of preparation techniques, and exploration of applications.
A significant highlight was the inauguration of the National Graphene Innovation Center's Collaborative Innovation Base in Changzhou. This center aims to lead the research and development of industrial applications for advanced graphene technologies, encompassing rigorous testing and verification processes. Its goal is to facilitate the transfer and initial commercialization of these pioneering technologies.
Additionally, the Jiangsu Graphene Technology Innovation Consortium unveiled the Graphene Two-Dimensional Semiconductor Laboratory. This laboratory aims to establish a comprehensive chain from basic research to industrial application, supporting the domestic production of high-performance chips and advancing China's capabilities in this cutting-edge field.
