On the evening of October 12, the lawn at Jiangsu University of Technology came alive with music as local artists Li Weijia, Chen Qijun, A Jie, and university bands performed together, celebrating the vibrant dreams and energy of the city’s youth. This concert marked the official launch of the 2024 Charming Changzhou Cultural Tourism Initiative and the kickoff of the Youthful Dreams Shine Bright in Changzhou tour.
The event unveiled a series of public-benefit activities set to unfold over the coming months, including discounted entry to key attractions, free shuttle services, and cultural performances. Throughout October, Changzhou has introduced three free shuttle routes, providing direct transport from Changzhou Science and Education Town and Jiangsu University of Technology to popular destinations—Tianmu Lake, Mount Maoshan, and Taihu Bay—ensuring seamless access to seven major scenic spots. Additionally, from now until December 30, twelve major attractions, including China Dinosaur Land, Tianmu Lake, YanCheng ChunQiu Amusement Land, and Oriental Saltlake Resort, will offer “buy one, get one free” ticket promotions for first-year university students in the city. Nearly 100 cultural tours, performances, and lectures are also scheduled across various districts.
As part of the launch, Changzhou's central cultural tourism platform, ChangXiangYou, introduced a limited-edition mystery box giveaway, adding an exciting twist to the campaign.
