Changzhou achieved a historic milestone at the Jiangsu Science and Technology Awards Ceremony held in Nanjing earlier this month. The city secured recognition for 30 projects, accounting for 11.81% of all awards—a record-breaking achievement.

The awards include six First Prizes, four Second Prizes, and 20 Third Prizes, underscoring Changzhou’s commitment to innovation and excellence. Among the honorees, Trina Solar Co., Ltd., a prominent enterprise in solar energy, was presented with the 2023 Provincial Enterprise Technology Innovation Award, further solidifying its role as a leader in renewable energy development.

The winning projects address key sectors such as energy technology, materials science, advanced manufacturing, and biotechnology, showcasing the city’s robust industrial base and research capabilities.

Changzhou continues to prioritize innovation-driven development, fostering a dynamic environment for technological advancement and contributing significantly to Jiangsu’s science and technology leadership.
